I inherited a gallery that’s embedded in an application, that was set up 7 or 8 years ago, and I’d like to update it to the latest version. It was on 2.3, and I’ve got it upgraded to 2.6.1. But when I try to back up the gallery using Backup/Restore in the Site Admin options, I get system out of memory. There are 435,000 rows in the Media Object table (over 6 million rows in the metadata table), so I’m not all that surprised. Is there a way to do this without using the XML files? Scripts in SQL Server, maybe? Or am I just stuck at 2.6?
